Divaad 'Newt' Wilson: UCF DB Turned Resilient NFL Journeyman
Divaad Wilson, the gritty 6'0" UCF Knights cornerback (Second-team All-AAC in 2021), has carved a tenacious NFL path as an undrafted free agent, logging 10 tackles across seven games with the Cardinals, Rams, Jaguars, Lions, and now Giants in 2024 (PFF overall grade 55.8). His differentiator? Versatile special teams ace with unflinching intensity and adaptability—elevated for key games, battling injuries like a recent Lions IR stint. Care about him for depth chart reliability; he's a perfect fit for teams needing locker room toughness and multi-phase contributors.
