Maliah Preston brings steady two-way guard play and proven playmaking to JWU
In the 2025-26 season, Maliah Preston has been a reliable sophomore guard for Johnson & Wales (NC), with season lines showing she can score, distribute, and defend in the same night—most notably a 13-point, 6-rebound, 3-assist outing and a 9-assist game that underline her floor-raising value. She’s a 5'6" guard from Greensboro with championship pedigree from Quality Education Academy, and that background shows up in her intensity and composure. If you need a tough, active connector who can handle pressure and make teammates better, she’s a fit.
