Nevada DE Kameron Toomer: Explosive Pass Rusher Sidelined by Injuries
Kameron Toomer, Nevada Wolf Pack's dynamic defensive end, flashed elite disruption skills in 2021 with 29 tackles, 3.0 TFL, and a sack across nine games, earning praise as a key rotational piece; however, recurring ankle injuries limited him to just 19 tackles, 3 TFL, and 1 sack in a recent season before a season-ending surgery, alongside teammate Lucas Weber. His high-motor intensity and athleticism from Palo Verde HS roots make him a tantalizing upside prospect for teams needing edge rush depth, but injury durability is a red flag—ideal for developmental rosters betting on recovery.
