Western Illinois guard Payton Courier adds depth, not star power
Payton Courier appears to be a depth guard for Western Illinois rather than a headline producer, with the roster bio showing just nine appearances in the 2020-21 season and an assist in the Summit League semifinal, which points to a low-usage role built around giving the team clean minutes when needed.[2] That profile makes her most useful if you want a steady, role-focused guard who can slot into a system without demanding the ball, though the available public data is too limited to credibly project major scoring upside or major rankings-based impact.[2]
