Tatem Telfer brings Iowa’s top lefty pedigree to Arkansas State
A 6-foot-1, 215-pound left-handed pitcher from Mid-Prairie HS, Tatem Telfer arrives at Arkansas State with a reputation for physicality, strike-throwing power, and two-way toughness. In 2024, he struck out 70 batters, allowed just two hits, and hit five home runs with 31 RBIs, while Prep Baseball Report noted a heavy arm wrap but plus life on his fastball and an above-average breaking ball when he’s in the zone. For a staff that wants a durable, high-upside arm with workhorse makeup, he looks like a sneaky-good fit.
