Nevada’s Two-Way, Defensive-First Guard
Criner is a proven Nevada program great whose calling card was elite two-way impact: a lightning-quick guard who became the school’s career steals leader, won WAC Defensive Player of the Year twice, and still ranks among Nevada’s all-time leaders in scoring, assists, free throws, and three-point shooting.[1][2] She consistently led the Wolf Pack in scoring, could create offense and pressure the ball at a high level, and was a big-game performer in marquee wins like Nevada’s upset of No. 7 Louisville.[1][2][5] For a team, she projects as the kind of intense, high-IQ guard who raises the defensive ceiling and brings proven winning experience.[1][2]
