versatile, high-IQ TE who wins with movement and reliability
In the 2024 season, JJ Galbreath was one of South Dakota’s most dependable weapons, catching 36 passes for 579 yards and 4 touchdowns, while also earning First Team All-American recognition at tight end. He’s a move-TE type: fluid, tough, and savvy in space, with enough speed and route feel to stress linebackers and find soft spots in coverage. The knock is that he’s not a mauler in-line, and some evaluations flagged strength and blocking consistency as limits. Bottom line: he’s a smart, versatile fit if you want a TE who can create mismatches and keep the offense on schedule.
