Elite 6-5 G/F Anchoring Austin Peay’s 22-8 ASUN Title Run
Fernandez Lockett, the 6-5 senior guard/forward from Madison, AL, is Austin Peay’s most versatile two-way weapon, averaging 8.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 48.7% FG in the 2025-26 season while leading the Governors to a 22-8 record and 1st-place ASUN finish. His differentiators include unmatched intensity on the floor, a senior-level calm in clutch moments, and the rare ability to defend both perimeter and post positions seamlessly—traits that make him a perfect fit for any team needing a high-intensity, adaptable starter. Though he has no major injury history, his relentless driving style occasionally leads to foul trouble, but his personality (coaches call him “the heartbeat”) and BracketBuster heroics (13 pts, 9 reb) prove he elevates when stakes rise. Care about Lockett because he doesn’t just fill stats; he changes games with grit, versatility, and leadership that transcends numbers.
