Emerging DL with Grit, But Injury Clouds Early Promise at Tennessee Tech
Freshman defensive lineman Xavier Randolph brings high school pedigree from Giles County to Tennessee Tech's Golden Eagles, showing flashes of run-stopping tenacity with 4 tackles, 2.5 TFLs, and 11 yards in losses through the 2025 season so far[7]. His differentiator is raw intensity and motor, but a notable injury against Eastern Illinois on Nov. 8 sidelined him mid-play, raising durability flags[1]. Care about him for his upside as a developmental disruptor; he's a smart fit for teams needing depth with coaching patience, not immediate starters.
