D.J. White brings ball-hawking veteran instincts and proven Georgia Tech production
At Georgia Tech, D.J. White stood out as a disruptive, turnover-creating DB: in his 2015 senior season he started 11 games, made 41 tackles, and posted 2 interceptions with a team-high 8 pass break-ups after earning an All-ACC honorable mention in 2014.[7] He is worth caring about because his game goes beyond box-score tackles—he showed real playmaking feel, range, and chase-down effort, highlighted by a memorable pursuit-and-force-fumble sequence in Tech coverage.[6][7] For a team fit, he profiles as a competitive, instinctive defensive back who can help in coverage and bring reliable intensity.[6][7]
