Alexus Freeman brings veteran two-way guard production and clutch defense for Alcorn State
Alexus Freeman is a proven Alcorn State guard whose value goes beyond scoring: in 2016-17 she was the SWAC Newcomer of the Year, averaged 10.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.3 steals per game, and ranked among the league leaders in both assists and steals.[3][10] Her standout trait is disruptive defense and timely playmaking—she has delivered late-game steals, clutch threes, and big scoring bursts, including a 23-point, five-assist, five-steal game—so she fits best as a high-energy, defensive-minded backcourt piece who can swing momentum.[4][6]
