seasoned Gopher interior lineman with old-school reliability
Ryan Orton is a veteran Minnesota offensive lineman whose value comes from experience, versatility, and steadiness rather than flashy box-score production. Minnesota’s roster lists him as a senior offensive lineman, and recruiting profiles show he was a committed in-state lineman out of Eden Prairie with the frame and toughness to play inside. His long runway in the program suggests a player coaches can trust for assignment-sound snaps, physicality, and depth in the trenches. If your team wants a dependable, high-floor lineman with local roots and proven staying power, Orton is the kind of glue guy worth caring about.
