Efficient dual-threat QB with high-end passing flashes and academic upside
Alex Gillett stood out at Eastern Michigan for showing both arm talent and run-game value, including a 207-yard, two-pass-TD spring-game performance plus a rushing score, while also posting a 3.72 GPA in chemistry that reflects strong discipline and preparation. His profile suggests a quarterback who can create off-script and stress defenses in more than one way, which makes him more interesting than a pure stat line would show. For a team, the appeal is versatility and competitiveness; the question is whether you want a mobile, multi-dimensional quarterback rather than a strictly pocket-only passer.
