Freshman linebacker Nicholas Fox brings local grit to Valpo’s front seven
Nicholas Fox is a 6-foot-1, 185-pound freshman linebacker from Valparaiso High School who gives the Beacons a developmental defender with hometown roots and room to grow into the college game. The clearest differentiator from the available roster info is his frame and freshman status, which suggest upside more than finished-product production in 2026. With limited public stat detail available here, the best read is that Fox is a projectable, energetic fit for a program that values toughness, special-teams utility, and long-term development.
