McNeese DL C.J. Semien brings proven disruption off the edge
C.J. Semien has shown he can be a steady rotational force for McNeese, flashing real pass-rush impact with **2 sacks**, **3 tackles for loss**, and **10 tackles** in his 2021 season while appearing in all 11 games; earlier in his career he also earned all-state honorable mention recognition and all-Southwest defensive lineman honors in high school. His value is in effort, consistency, and getting into the backfield rather than just piling up volume, which makes him a fit for a team looking for a high-motor DL who can create pressure and win with toughness.
