Nate Kugler is a rising Dartmouth weapon with starter polish and swingman versatility
In the 2026 season, Dartmouth’s Nate Kugler emerged as a reliable right-hander, finishing with a 3.35 ERA across 45.2 innings and earning honorable mention All-Ivy recognition. He’s shown real value as both a starter and reliever, highlighted by 12 scoreless innings in two starts and a one-hit, seven-inning gem against Cornell in April 2026. The separator is his composure and adaptability: he doesn’t just throw strikes, he can change roles, handle pressure, and give Dartmouth innings in multiple spots. A good fit for a team needing competitive depth and calm, efficient pitching.
