David Mysza is a glove-first UCLA infielder still fighting for at-bats
In the 2026 season, David Mysza appeared in five games for UCLA as a reserve infielder and pinch-runner, so the sample is tiny but the role is clear: speed, versatility, and bench value. UCLA lists him as an INF and the Bruins’ roster shows him as a redshirt freshman from La Salle HS, while summer-league notes and high-school reports point to a left-handed hitter with athleticism and contact skills. He was ranked among California’s top infield prospects coming out of high school, and the early read is that he fits a roster that values defensive flexibility and energy, even if his bat still needs runway.
