C.J. Ceasar II brings veteran CB playmaking to TCU’s secondary
Ceasar is a lean, experienced cover man at 5-foot-11, 166 pounds who has already shown he can flip games with ball production; in 2020, he earned Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week honors after a two-interception outing against Louisiana Tech. His best differentiators are quick-trigger instincts, competitive edge, and proven splash-play ability, which makes him a fit for teams valuing aggressive man/zone coverage and turnover creation. The tradeoff is that his lighter frame can be a factor versus bigger receivers and in run support, so he profiles as a feisty, disruptive corner more than a pure press enforcer.
