JT Gunzy brings veteran righty depth and a reliever’s edge to Siena
In the 2026 season, JT Gunzy has been a useful, if uneven, arm for Siena, with flashes of effectiveness in relief and spot starting work; he’s also shown he can miss bats in short bursts, including a scoreless two-inning win over Fairfield on March 7, 2026. Siena’s roster lists him at 6-foot-2, 200 pounds, and his earlier track record at Roger Williams suggests a durable, strike-throwing right-hander who can eat innings and compete. The fit is best for teams wanting experienced bullpen depth, not a pure bat-misser or finished product.
