Experienced Butler linebacker with proven tackling production
Kyle Payne is a seasoned Butler Bulldogs linebacker who showed real disruptive value in the 2015 season, finishing with 22 tackles in just four games and adding 2.5 tackles for loss, after logging 28 stops in 2014 and 54 tackles in 2013. His calling card is consistency, physicality, and a nose for the ball near the line of scrimmage—more grinder than glamour guy, but exactly the kind of steady, assignment-sound defender coaches love to trust on special teams and early downs.
