Versatile HCU athlete with quarterback history, but limited recent statistical impact
Nowell is a Houston Christian player whose profile is more about versatility than proven production: Houston Christian’s roster and historical bio list him as a wide receiver who also appeared at quarterback in 2019, while major stat pages show no meaningful recent counting stats. That makes him intriguing as a depth or developmental fit rather than an immediate impact starter. If you value multi-position flexibility, game-day adaptability, and a player who has already handled quarterback duties in live action, he is worth a look; if you need a high-volume, data-backed producer, the current evidence does not show that yet.
