a long, developmental CSU wideout with local roots
Richard Pixley is a 6-foot-4, 185-pound redshirt freshman WR from Fort Collins who gives Colorado State a tall catch radius and a local-connection storyline that coaches love. In the 2012 season, he redshirted as a true freshman, so the big question is upside rather than production; his profile suggests a developmental receiver with size, length, and room to add strength. If you want an immediate stat-sheet star, he’s not that yet—but if you’re betting on frame, patience, and growth, Pixley is a classic “keep your eye on him” fit.
