Lipscomb’s ASUN Top-8 Scorer with Elite Intensity and Double-Double Consistency
Claira McGowan, a guard for the Lipscomb Lady Bisons, averaged 13.7 points per game (8th in ASUN) and 3.6 rebounds in the 2024–25 season, starting all 32 games and playing 32 minutes per contest[7][9]. Her differentiator is relentless intensity—she’s second on the team with 25 double-doubles and drives Lipscomb’s record-breaking, low-turnover offense (13.6 per game, ASUN leader)[1][9]. Though no injury history is public, her 100% game-start rate and 1000+ career points signal durability and leadership[6][9]. She’s a high-fit guard for teams needing a scoring threat who elevates team discipline and post-season readiness, as Lipscomb earned its first WNIT bid in 20 years with her on the floor[1].
