Tall Spanish Forward with Sparse Playing Time at Manhattan
Barcelona native Gemma Ruiz Garcia, a 6-3 fifth-year forward for the Manhattan Jaspers, showed limited impact in 2022-23, appearing in just five games with one start and one steal against Duquesne[6][8]. Her minimal stats (0.0 PTS/REB/AST per ESPN) suggest she's a deep bench piece, possibly adapting from prior stops like Toledo in 2020-21[1][2]. Strengths include her imposing height for rebounding and defense, but low minutes raise questions on readiness. Care if you need size on a budget roster; she's a low-risk project for teams seeking international upside without proven production[6].
