Javan Shashaty is a deep-cut QB name with a real Liberty connection
Javan Shashaty’s best-known football résumé is older than it looks: at Liberty, he was a backup quarterback who flashed in a 2014 spring game and later helped with a memorable fake-field-goal first down, while earlier notes highlighted his record-setting high school production in Florida. The data trail also suggests he is not a current featured Liberty quarterback in 2026, so the appeal is more history-and-upside than immediate stat-sheet stardom. If you want a gritty, team-first QB with local pedigree and play-action creativity, he’s intriguing; if you need a proven current starter, the evidence doesn’t point there.
