Makoni Pole brings veteran gap-control grit to Abilene Christian
Makoni Pole is a seasoned defensive tackle for Abilene Christian whose value comes from sturdiness, experience, and finishing the play at the point of attack. In his ACU career, he has been credited with 115 tackles, 25 tackles for loss, eight sacks, and three forced fumbles, a strong indicator of disruptive interior play and proven production[11]. He profiles as a tough, downhill run defender with leverage and awareness—more plug-and-play than flashy, but exactly the kind of trench presence that can stabilize a defense[2][11].
