The Blue Raiders’ walk-on receiver with veteran savvy and family ties
Rondell Newson is best known at Middle Tennessee as a **walk-on wide receiver** who earned his role through persistence and football IQ, and he brings a blue-collar edge that can matter in a receiver room. The clearest differentiator in the available team bio is his connection to a proven football family—his brother Kendall Newson was also a Blue Raiders standout—which adds a useful backdrop of experience and program familiarity. Reliable public data on Rondell’s current on-field production is limited, so his value profile is more about resilience, coachability, and depth than headline stats.
