UNLV's Kyle Watkins: Reliable TE with Steady Hands from a Decade Ago
Kyle Watkins, UNLV Rebels tight end, posted career NCAAF stats of 11 receptions for 134 yards and 1 TD over 23 games (2009-2010), peaking with 8 catches for 110 yards in 2010 including a 27-yard score. A consistent starter in 8 games, his 12.2 yards-per-catch average highlights sure-handed reliability and red-zone threat potential, though production was modest in a run-heavy era. No notable injury history; ideal backup TE fit for teams valuing veteran poise over flash—why care? Proven college performer ready to mentor or step up in tight end depth charts.
