veteran Youngstown State CB with pro-caliber size and ball skills
David Rivers III brings prototype cornerback length at 6-2 and 185 pounds, plus a résumé that includes starting experience at Youngstown State and a run to the 2016 FCS national title game. In his 2014 season at YSU, he logged 10 tackles in limited action and showed he could hang in big-game spots, which is the kind of trait coaches trust. He looks like a fit for teams that value physical press coverage, maturity, and a defensive back who can compete with size on the outside.
