Jimelle James brings veteran versatility and defensive toughness to Alabama A&M
Jimelle James profiles as a veteran, physical defender with a long college footprint, including Alabama A&M and Morehouse, and that experience is his calling card. In the 2012 season, Alabama A&M listed him as a 6-foot-2, 190-pound linebacker, while later Morehouse notes show him contributing with toughness and production in the defensive backfield, including 29 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, a sack, two forced fumbles, and a blocked kick in the 2015 season. He’s the kind of versatile, high-effort player coaches like for special teams and physical depth — a grinder, not just a stat sheet name.
