Cody Neely brings veteran, steady linebacker depth to New Mexico
Cody Neely’s value is in reliability and experience: ESPN lists him as a New Mexico linebacker with career production spread across multiple seasons, including 27 total tackles in 2010 and 12 in 2009, suggesting a player who can contribute in a disciplined, assignment-sound role rather than as a flashy stat-chaser.[1] For a team looking for a dependable fit, he profiles as a low-mistake defender who can help stabilize the middle of the defense, though the available public data is limited and does not provide recent performance indicators beyond those season totals.[1]
