Kevin Houchins Jr. brings Louisville length, speed, and back-end reliability
Kevin Houchins Jr. is a Louisville defensive back whose profile points to a compact, physical safety/corner type with solid straight-line speed and experience in the Cardinals’ secondary. ESPN listed him at 5-10, 177 pounds with a 4.64 forty coming out of Brush High School, and he signed with Louisville in 2011 as a cornerback, which suggests a versatile DB skill set rather than a pure size-based matchup piece. Based on the available data, he looks like a role-friendly defender whose value comes from toughness, coverage flexibility, and special-teams potential more than headline-grabbing stat production.
