Jayden Pena brings freshman pop and corner-infield upside to Manhattan
Jayden Pena is a 2026 freshman third baseman for Manhattan, listed at 5'11", 180 pounds, and he already has the kind of frame and corner-infield profile that college staffs love to mold. Manhattan’s roster lists him at third base, and the program’s academic honor roll also shows him as a freshman finance student, which hints at the kind of dependable, two-way maturity coaches usually appreciate. Publicly available team pages currently do not show season stats for him, so the real intrigue is projection: if he can translate his size, handling of the hot corner, and freshman-year upside into game reps, he could be a sneaky-fit add for a program needing development and upside.
