Griffin Baumoel brings linebacker size and depth value to Miami (OH)
Griffin Baumoel is a **6-foot-2.5, 224-pound inside linebacker** whose profile suggests a sturdy, physical fit in the middle of the defense, with Miami (OH) listing him on its football roster and ESPN tracking his RedHawks player page.[3][4][2] The main reason to care: he offers the body type and linebacker frame coaches typically want for run support and interior toughness, but publicly available recent performance data is thin, so the clearest read is that he projects as a depth or development piece rather than a proven stat-sheet standout right now.[2][4] His earlier collegiate action included three games and three tackles in 2019, which shows prior game experience but not yet a large statistical résumé.[4]
