Xavier Mitchell brings productive, high-motor interior help to Maine's defensive front
In his 2021 season at Maine, Xavier Mitchell appeared in all 11 games and produced 39 tackles, including two tackles for loss, which suggests a dependable rotational DL who can stay on the field and contribute against both the run and the pass.[3] His value is less about flash and more about steady disruption, durability, and interior toughness—traits that matter if a team wants a player who can hold gaps, finish plays, and add depth without needing the spotlight.[3]
