Maine DB with a developmental upside in the Black Bears secondary
Lamir Whetstone is a Maine Black Bears defensive back whose value is tied less to headline stats and more to projection, with his role suggesting a player coaches can develop into a reliable coverage piece if his technique and consistency keep trending up. Publicly available information on his recent production is limited, so the key takeaway is that he profiles as a depth-and-upside defender rather than a proven star, which can still make him a fit for teams looking for a coachable DB with room to grow.
