Norfolk State’s run-stuffing, splash-play magnet in the secondary
AJ Richardson is a high-impact defender with proven production and a nose for game-changing plays. In the 2024 season, he led Norfolk State with 100 tackles and added 9.5 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, an interception, a fumble recovery, and a pass breakup, earning First Team All-MEAC honors. He’s the type who shows up everywhere, especially versus the run, and he’s already posted monster outings like 18 tackles against Towson in 2024. If you want physicality, instincts, and a defender who plays with a chip, he’s a strong fit.
