Senior Guard with Resilient Comeback Story at Ohio State
Ashley Allen, a 5'11" senior guard for the Ohio State Buckeyes, is defined not by her modest 2.7 PPG average in the 2025-26 season, but by her elite resilience and clutch scoring ability—evidenced by her critical 3-pointer that gave Ohio State a 60-54 lead in their 66-62 loss to Notre Dame. Her differentiator is her hard-fought return from a significant past injury, showcasing an intensity level and 'take the good with the bad' personality that transcends stats. While her shooting percentage (30.8%) suggests offensive inconsistency, her experience and defensive grit make her a high-fit teammate for teams valuing leadership and mental toughness over pure scoring volume.
