Veteran DB with Tackling Grit from Rhode Island Rams' 2014 Campaign
Donovan Walker, a starting defensive back for the Rhode Island Rams in 2014, showcased reliability across 12 games with standout performances like 11 tackles at Fordham, 10 against Albany, and 8 tackles plus 2 pass breakups vs. Richmond—highlighting his tackling prowess, ball skills, and coverage instincts rated 6/10 by 247Sports scouts. A versatile athlete with high school roots as a dual-threat WR/CB (47 catches, 819 yds, 4 TDs senior year), his intensity and multi-positional experience make him a low-risk, high-motor fit for teams needing depth in the secondary, though limited recent college stats suggest he's best as a savvy role player.
