Delaware’s steady senior guard with a playmaking edge
Alena Koshansky was a tough, seasoned Delaware guard whose value came from more than scoring: in the 2006-07 season she led the CAA in turnover-assist ratio (3.03), ranked 17th nationally in points per game (19.8), and set Delaware’s single-season scoring record with 632 points while also piling up 342 career steals. She fit the mold of a reliable floor general—“solid, steady force,” with a calming influence and team-captain presence—making her the kind of guard coaches trust in big moments.
