a former Lobo lineman whose profile points to toughness, not flash
Mike Cannon is a former New Mexico offensive lineman, listed as a guard, whose value came from trench work, positional flexibility, and a reputation strong enough to earn senior-captain and academic recognition during his Lobos career. In 2010, he was noted as a senior captain and a Mountain West Conference All-Academic selection, which usually signals steadiness, maturity, and trust from coaches. He fits best for a team that wants a dependable, no-drama interior blocker rather than a headline-grabber.
