Vincent Duffy brings gritty glue-guy value for Seton Hall
Vincent Duffy is a 6-foot-2 freshman C/OF for Seton Hall who already looks like a versatile, do-the-little-things contributor rather than a loud box-score monster. In the 2026 season, he hit .109 with a .226 OBP and played primarily at catcher, posting a strong 95.8% fielding percentage while starting 17 of 19 games behind the plate. His high school resume shows real athletic upside—captaining baseball and football, earning four straight all-league/conference honors, and winning multiple player-of-the-year awards—so he profiles as a competitive, multi-sport tough guy who can help a roster with flexibility, effort, and catch-and-throw value.
