experienced ULM linebacker with proven tackling pop
Mailei brings a physical, assignment-sound presence to Louisiana-Monroe’s linebacker room, with ULM listing him as a 6-foot-1, 212-pound junior in 2022 and later a 6-foot-2, 225-pound redshirt senior in 2023. In his 2021 ULM season, he posted 24 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, one interception, and two pass breakups, showing he can affect plays beyond just finishing tackles. The big sell: veteran experience, downhill urgency, and enough coverage disruption to matter in the middle of a defense.
