former Murray State QB with size, mobility, and a live arm
Lucas Maue’s Murray State profile lists him at 6-foot-2, 185 pounds, and he’s shown he can produce when called on: in 2022, he completed 2 of 4 passes for 87 yards and 2 total touchdowns against Southeast Missouri State, including a scoring run and a deep strike. That hints at a dual-threat QB who can extend plays and create chunk gains, not just hand the ball off. The bigger question is workload and continuity, since the available data suggests limited game action rather than a proven full-time starter. If you want upside and athleticism, he’s worth a look; if you need a polished, high-volume veteran, this is a lighter resume.
