Brooke Pumroy brings veteran point-guard poise and perimeter punch to Louisiana Tech
Pumroy’s calling card is a dependable, high-volume guard game: in the 2015-16 season at Louisiana Tech, she averaged 12.2 points, 71 assists and 35 steals, led the team with 71 made 3-pointers, and shot .863 from the free-throw line. She fits teams that want a proven lead guard who can space the floor, handle creation duties, and compete with toughness gained from starting 63 of 64 games at Marquette before transferring. The main question is efficiency from the field, but her experience and shot-making make her a strong fit for a win-now backcourt.[1][2][4]
