a young, true-center presence with early scoring upside
Atila Santos is a **true center** from Salvador, Brazil who showed early touch and composure for UNI as a freshman, including a 13-point outing against SMSU in 2004; the hook with him is size-based interior value rather than flashy volume scoring. The public record here is thin, but what stands out is that he was trusted to produce as a newcomer, which suggests a player with usable rim presence, growth potential, and enough steadiness to earn minutes. If your team needs a developmental big who can anchor the paint, he’s worth a look.
