Lucas Stone brings left-handed depth and strike-throwing upside for Northern Colorado
In the 2026 season, Northern Colorado LHP Lucas Stone has worked as a versatile arm, logging 19 mound appearances with six starts and 29 strikeouts across 39.0 innings, after posting a 2025 freshman line of 14 appearances, three starts, 10 strikeouts in 16.2 innings, and a .324 opponent average. His appeal is the left-handed frame, starter-reliever flexibility, and projectable arm that made him a notable follow in Colorado; the caution flag is that he’s still learning consistency, as opponents have squared him up at times. Good fit if a team wants upside and depth, not a finished product.
