Tyja Traore brings veteran size and efficient finishing to Elon’s frontcourt
A 6'3" senior forward for Elon, Tyja Traore offers frontcourt experience, efficient scoring touch, and steady role-player value; ESPN career stats listed her at 2.3 points and 1.7 rebounds per game with a 53.1% field-goal rate, and her high school profile points to a long upward arc from bench player to varsity starter and MVP. [1][3][4] She looks like a fit for a team needing maturity, size, and low-drama reliability more than volume production, with Coach’s Award recognition suggesting strong intangibles and coachability.
