veteran ORU guard with steady touch and a family-bred basketball feel
In the 2017-18 season, Spencer Sutton gave Oral Roberts a low-usage but efficient backcourt option, shooting 38.5% from the field and 36.0% from three while posting 1.3 points, 0.4 rebounds, and 0.4 assists per game. He stands out more for feel than flash: a 6-foot-4 guard with a coach’s son pedigree, strong fundamentals, and enough perimeter touch to space the floor. If you want a dependable, unselfish guard who understands the game and brings a built-in competitive edge, Sutton fits the mold.
