Faith Cook brings veteran guard grit and proven scoring touch to Sam Houston
Faith Cook is a battle-tested guard for Sam Houston whose value goes beyond box scores: the 2021-22 season record shows a 5-2, redshirt senior playmaker who earned All-WAC first-team recognition and has long been trusted in high-minute, high-usage roles. In a 2021-22 game, she logged 20 points, 5 assists, and 3 steals against California Baptist, showing she can create offense, pressure the ball, and handle heavy late-game responsibility. At her size, the differentiator is competitiveness, craft, and pace control—she looks like a player who can steady a lineup and elevate a team’s toughness.
